I couldn’t put down the skeleton ring from Charlotte Martyr just yet – here’s a nighttime look, to balance out the determined ‘summers day in the city’ from my last post. These trousers were an absolute bargain, tucked away forgotten in a desolate corner of Topshop. To my delight they came to less than a fiver, and they’re perhaps the floatiest, most voluminous item of clothing I own. Surprisingly practical... 

In my day-to-day sartorial life, I tend to wear pins that have been handed to me at after parties or shows, record stores or tattoo parlors. I rock a hipster barrage of small, circular badges that say, hey, I do cool stuff or have friends that do cool stuff and want to use me as a billboard to advertise their cool goings on. I rock ‘em, willingly, because they add personality to an outfit, a little colorful cluster of logos and weird slogans...
