The Scarf | A Fashion Statement that never gets old.

From Drab to Fab in Seconds

If you’re ever in front of the mirror staring at your outfit saying, “It just needs something else.” It probably does! – Ronilyn

…and that little something can almost always be what I like to refer to as a fashion scarf. The scarf is no ordinary accessory. It’s every fashion lovers’ secret weapon. The fashion scarf adds just the right amount of oomph to your ensemble.  Trust me, scarves do the trick…Every. Single. Time. Take any plain top or outfit, add a fashion scarf – and you’re transformed.

The purpose of the scarf is to add a little something extra to your outfit – to kick it up from drab to fab. It takes just one simple addition and you can really take it as far as you want. Wear knit scarves for that simple chic look.

Cotton or cashmere scarves for the classic charm. Or a silk scarf for a more fabulous attire. Each material transcends a different appeal and each can be worn a variety of different ways! They’re a great way to include different patterns and textures into your outfit. Although especially popular in the fall and winter seasons, fashion scarves can really be worn any time of the year.

Best of all, no matter what your location, scarves are always in style. Scarves made their grand entrance into the world during the time of Ancient Rome. Their purpose was not to keep people warm, but instead to keep people clean, mostly from sweat. The scarf was originally called a sudarium, which is Latin for “sweat cloth”.

Today scarves do more than just wipe sweat from foreheads. Scarves, although used for warmth, are largely worn as a fashionable accessory. Scarves are my absolute favorite accessory mainly because of the flexibility and depth they add to every outfit. With scarves, you can make one outfit into ten. So go bananas!
